How many times we have forgotten about how to take care of ourself because we spend too much time with our instrument?
We totally understand that now in a days our career, concerts, family and friends are important, but we have to take care about our most important asset (besides our talent of course) in the artist field, and that is our IMAGE.
In the conservatory we have uncountable hours of classes/practicing but do they take the time to teach us how to develop our image? How to close a contract? how much to charge per classes and how much to charge per concert?
When the music is not sounding, or when people take a time to observe, they speak about or form opinions about the performance and ALL of the non-verbal communication and this ultimately can potentially determine our value for them.
Remember, you may be the greatest musician in the world, but if your image and personality out of the stage is not saying the right things about you, you will be passed over time.
